Hi, we’re Just Foods Collaborative.
Just Foods’ mission is to be an inclusive body of people working to build healthy, viable communities through quality food.
With over 100 partners, we have a wealth of food policy, farming, sustainability and nutrition experience.
Attend our bi-monthly meetings to learn more and join the conversation.
We meet virtually every-other-month to bring together institutions, organizations, and individuals that touch all levels of the food system. These meetings are spaces to learn together, share about work in the region, and build relationships across siloes.
Upcoming meetings:

Just Foods Collaborative has evolved from an initial spark of conversation at the first annual Just Health and Foods Summit in 2012 in Rocky Mount. What began as a gathering of community leaders has grown into a collaborative effort, uniting local farmers, parents, educators, and advocates. Over the years, Just Foods has expanded its membership and partnerships, launching impactful initiatives like the Farm to Early Childcare Center Pilot and advocacy workshops.
Today, we’re building on these successes by formalizing our work as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, guided by the experiences, wisdom, and deep community roots of our members. Our mission is to strengthen local food systems, support farmers, and make sure that everyone, especially our youngest eaters, has access to healthy, fresh, and affordable food.
